Who is he?
I turn my head so I can study the man outside Onii-chan’s school. It’s not the first time I’ve seen him here but I don’t know who he is. He’s very handsome though and just looking at his face makes my heart beat fast. I look back down at the ground and try to draw up my courage. When I look back up he’s gone and I frown. It feels like every time I look away he vanishes. It just makes me want to talk to him even more but I don’t know what to say.
Hi my name is Shizuka and you are really handsome. What’s your name?
I huff in frustration. There are multiple problems here. One is that I haven’t worked up the courage to talk to him yet. Two is that he seems to disappear if I take my eyes off him and three is that he’s probably already taken. How can a man as handsome as that not have someone in his life? He probably wouldn’t be interested in me anyway. I remember one of my friends saying I won’t know till I try and they are right but it’s so nerve wracking. What on earth do I say? And that’s only if I can find him again. Maybe I should ask someone. Not Onii-chan. The last thing I need is for him to know I like another boy.
I think back to said boy and his appearance. I’ve only ever seen hair like his in one place before…well technically two places. The Bakura twins have the same white hair. It’s true that the mystery man’s skin is completely different which means they probably aren’t actually related but…Amane-san is a bit of a gossip…she might be able to tell me his name at least. Feeling a little better now that I have a goal in mind I set out.
A little later I knock on the Bakura twins door.
<I don't know if the Thief King lives with the Bakura family but I needed somewhere she could go for information and they made the most sense with their hair lol. I just can't picture Shizuka walking up to a complete stranger she has a crush on. She would second guess herself too much. Amane was okay because she already knew her. Yakou was okay because she had the connection of Pegasus to talk about but she literally knows nothing about the Thief King so she's going to the queen of gossip for help XD<
As far as he knew, nobody had seen him doing anything he shouldn't have been recently (or, anything he was most definitely doing despite their stupid laws telling him he wasn't supposed to) but you never knew when the smallest slip-up could lead the cops right to Ryou's door. Seemed these days there were eyes everywhere.
He peeked through the eyehole, but the one standing there didn't exactly seem like an officer... Then again, he had met ladies that were just as cute as her and half her size that had turned out to be deadly.
Was she familiar...? Perhaps one of Amane's friends? If she was... Amane should have made sure to bring her around more often.
While he felt he should cross-reference her identity with Ryou or Amane before opening the door, he still hadn't gotten the hang of cellphones and the bastards had chosen this time to be gone.
Taking a deep breath, he unlocked the door and opened it halfway, examining the girl with curious eyes. "Can I help you?"
"Um Hi."
Oh god. I can feel my entire face go red. He's so handsome and he's tall and my brain is refusing to work when he's standing this close to me and I still don't know his name.
"I'm Shizuka," I blurt out and then duck my head to look at the ground wishing it could swallow me up.

He remains silent for a few moments, expecting more words to come out of her mouth, before smirking -
"I believe this is the moment you tell me why you're here, then, Shizuka," he says, giving special emphasis to her name. "Are you friends with Amane? Or Ryou? Or did some god decide I should have the chance to look at something beautiful today?"
<Dude, it would work. Nobody would ever suspect her and she's like... a secret badass.<
